Independently
or in teams with other organizations and initiatives Art4Development.Net
programs and projects aim at:
- providing
information / data / facts and figures on developmental challenges and
preventive measures by means of utilizing any kind and style of arts and
creativity
- educating
/ training project participants via edutaining - informal learning techniques
- inspiring
/ creating hope for taking concrete action towards attaining developmental
goals
- facilitating
collaboration and cross-cultural dialogue
as well as helping to create a mutual understanding and awareness of vital
human and social issues worldwide.
Through the conveyance
of knowledge and interaction among individuals and communities, Art4Development.Net
strives to provide opportunities for those underserved and underdeveloped
pockets of society across the globe. Art4Development.Net aims to make the
'arts' work and help improve people's lives by providing educational and
informational resources. Art4Development.Net
short and long-term programs; special events,
workshops, exhibitions, lectures
/ guest speakers, publications, online
/ offline activities,...
all aim to help
bringing people together and bridging developed and transitional communities.
Art4Development.Net
also provides organizational and project development and management support
services for profit and nonprofit organizations in education and arts; organizes
social marketing activities; designs artworks and collaterals; and works
on social responsibility programs. We set up, for instance, web pages for
arts and development activists who otherwise do not have web presence--
we help them increase their visibility to reach global partners. By becoming
their communication partner we assist featuring them in public TVs;
publishing their arts-infused developmental works; supporting their press
campaigns to raise awareness, and more.
The Art4Development.Net
community is unique in that it utilizes various art forms in achieving global
objectives ranging from fighting HIV/AIDS and environmental degradation;
supporting victims of abuse; to helping traumatized children among others.
Art4Development.Net projects serve in bridging disparities by educating
its constituents and creating responsiveness in a range of pivotal issues
that plague the world we live in today.
