7 Million children die each year as a result of the debt crisis. The money spent on debt repayments could provide water for around 1.3 billion people. The poorest 49 countries of the world make up 10% of planet earth's population but account for only 0.4% of world trade. Their share has halved since 1980. *

We together need to develop an open trading and financial system that is non-discriminatory and includes a commitment to good governance, development and poverty reduction at all levels as well as allows the development of collaborative opportunities, productive work; increases tolerance for diversity; and facilitates access to ICTs for all in this Information Era!
